Wenn Sie das neue DLC Pack für Assassin’s Creed III herunterladen, kann in seltenen Fällen ein äußerst unerfreulicher Bug auftreten, der gespeicherte Spielstände unbrauchbar macht/löscht.
Das neue Hidden Secrets Pack, das im Grunde aus den verschiedenen Pre-Order-Boni – Waffen und Missionen – besteht, ist an sich eine feine Sache. Die wenigsten Leute haben damit Probleme. Aber falls Sie versuchen sollten, es herunterzuladen, während Sie das Spiel spielen, können Sie von dem Bug betroffen sein.
Ein Repräsentant von Ubisoft schreibt dazu in den offiziellen Foren des Spiels:
Just a quick heads up, we're able to reproduce this issue at the studio and are working on a fix/workaround.
From what we can tell, this problem seems to be rare and should generally only affect a very small number of players. That said, we're taking the speedy and complete resolution of this very seriously.
AVOIDING THIS BUG: Do not load your saved AC3 game while the DLC is downloading in the background. This appears to be the key trigger for this bug. You can do anything else you want to do, just don't load up your saved game and play it while the DLC is downloading.
Kein gespeichertes AC3 Spiel laden, während im Hintergrund der Download läuft. Verstanden? Gut. In dieser Woche müssen nicht noch mehr salzige Tränen vergossen werden.
Nicht nur das Savegames zerstört werden. In meinem Fall fehlt jetzt plötzlich die komplette Hintergrundmusik.
