Haben Sie es verstanden? Solid steht für kampferprobt, Snake für stealthy (geheim und unbemerkt vorgehend). Da nur eine Schlange eine Schlange besiegen kann, musste Solid Snakes Gegenspieler in Metal Gear Solid auch eine Schlange (Snake) sein – deshalb Liquid Snake, wobei sich 'Liquid' darauf bezieht, dass er ein Klon ist. Und Solidus Snake aus Metal Gear Solid 2 hätte Gas Snake heißen können. Das wäre wirklich albern gewesen.
